I was there in Sep, 2007, first and last time. There was a sign on the door saying that customers should enter through the door on the side that had no signs or windows. Then I saw a DHL Delivery guy calling someone inside so they could open for him (Iâm guessing), he went inside and closed the door after that. I called their # from my cell while I was outside and I had never been treated so badly by that jerk who Iâm guessing is the owner. He is a smart ass, he told me to go to the front and read the sign for him, at first I wasnât sure why he would want me to do that, then he told me what part I wasnât understanding. I told him, âI just need you to tell me which door to use and open it for me in case is lockedâ?, he went crazy on me and started yelling that he was extremely busy to be dealing with someone like me, and that it wasnât his problem that I didnât know how to read. i even thought about calling the cops since I was humiliated by that freak, but I figured he has probably some mental retardation since he behaves that way.Ass Iâm reading what some people are writing about that place, it only confirms that the guy that runs that business is a jerk. He need to close to the general public if he doesn’t have any customer skills. He is just ruining the reputation of that place. That was my first and last time at that place. Now, even if I buy from amazon, I always check Iâm not buying any books from him. I have spend at least $1,200 in books since then, and Iâm glad my business has gone to other people that at least treat me nicely.

Thanks for the “Parallels Tools” tip Mark – it solved my mouse problem and I love the way the mouse now moves seamlessly between the two. Paralells rocks but why on earth don’t they just include Parallels tool as part of the main package by default – they’re really important!

For future refrence that condensate pipe should have a trap on it. This traps allows water to drain even when the A/C is on. When the A/C is on there is negative pressure inside the airhandler. Without a trap it will suck the water up not allowing it to drain from the pan.

Interesting that somebody else in Phoenix had a problem with a too-short drip pan. I’ve got a soggy bedroom ceiling since my primary drain plugged and the drip pan is too short.

Again, as I posted over on handcoding.com, I’ve dealt with this company, and the owner, for a couple of years now, and have NEVER had any issue.
Once they started locking the front doors, they put a sign up warning about dogs.
I fail to see the issue, here.
Even before the signs went up, it’s pretty common knowledge that there are dogs inside.
Before we make the owner out to be some kind of ogre, flip this around. Who knows how many people came in, let the door fly open, and just walked in without regard to it being closed?
I’m just a dude who’s bought books from the place. I don’t know the owner beyond the small talk I engage in when I go there.
But from the comments I’ve read on these blogs, I had to say something to counter the ridiculous pillorying and crap going on.

My secondary overflow was flowing from day one on my newly constructed house.
I finally checked out my unit (after 2 plus years) and discovered that the installer didn’t put any slope to the pipe coming out of the unit. In fact, the pipe was sloping in the wrong direction entirely. All condensation was moving out of the secondary overflow to the side of my house because it couldn’t escape the primary.

A great technique is to find where it is supposed to be dripping and hold a shopvac (cleared for wet use) on the output and it will suck out the algae and free the obstruction.
